            Friends of Scouting

Friends of Scouting is the annual campaign where the Golden Empire Council asks for general operating support from Scouting families, businesses, and civic minded citizens to fund our mission of providing the Scouting program to thousands of young people in northern California.

          Council Endowment Giving 

Gifts to the Golden Empire Council endowment fund is one of Scouting's highest priorities.  It is the best way to ensure long term financial support of the outstanding Scouting programs provided by the Council. The endowment is required to be spent in a certain way or alternatively invested, with the principal to remain intact in perpetuity. This allows for the donation to have an impact over a longer period of time than if it were spent all at once. It is an investment into our future.

            Capital Giving

 Support our Council camping facilities and customer service centers through financial and in-kind donations. We are always in need of resources — from materials for camp improvements to office supplies. We also greatly value gifts of professional expertise in areas like PR, design, IT, and others.
