There is a JTE guidebooks for Pack, Troops, Teams, Crews and Ships. Each one contains the JTE Scorecard showing the JTE criteria and the JTE Spreadsheet, which if downloaded, will track JTE progress as your unit completes its planned activities. Included is a Unit Responsibility Summary sheet showing which adult has primary responsibility for each JTE Objective and the desired medal level: Bronze, Silver or Gold. Each JTE Scorecard objective is explained in easy to understand text form.
Included are necessary forms and information for creating a unit budget.
The guidebooks also contain the progress record sheets for the Scouter's Training Award and Unit level Scouter's Key. An adult who accepts primary responsibility for one unit JTE Objective, meets the unit's JTE medal goal for two years, meets the required training and other requirements qualifies for the Scouter's Training award. Helping your unit achieve solid scouting by providing leadership for a JTE Objective should be a goal for all Adults associated with their child's unit. Doing so will get you started on your training and service recognitions.
