History of Camp Lassen
Some years ago, the Butte Meadows Jonesville Community Association gathered a lot of the pictures and stories of the Butte Meadows and Jonesville area and published a book as an ongoing community fundraiser. Included in the book is a section on Camp Lassen. This script was originally prepared for the 60th Anniversary of Camp Lassen with some updates along the way.
This is really just a start and now that we have a forum to share and build on the knowledge base, we hope that we can add and expand on the story. If you have the aid-bits of information to add, drop us a note and one of these days you'll see an updated History of Camp Lassen.
